One Million Trees Foundation Inc was established in 2020 by a group of environmental scientists, community leaders, and conservation enthusiasts who recognized the urgent need for large-scale reforestation efforts. What started as a local tree planting initiative has grown into a nationwide movement.
Our founders witnessed firsthand the devastating effects of deforestation, climate change, and environmental degradation on local communities. They understood that trees are not just plantsβthey are vital infrastructure for a healthy planet, providing oxygen, sequestering carbon, preventing soil erosion, and supporting biodiversity.
Since our inception, we have planted over 250,000 trees across 15 states, working with schools, community groups, and local governments to ensure each tree planted contributes to long-term environmental health and community well-being.
